Northamptonshire recognised at HSJ Digital Awards 2026

This week, Northamptonshire colleagues have been recognised nationally at the HSJ Digital Awards 2026 in Birmingham, celebrating the impact of digital innovation on patient care.

The awards recognise outstanding work across the NHS in using digital technology to transform services and improve outcomes.

Award winners

Improving Mental Health through Digital
Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, working in partnership with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, won for their work with Chat Mental Health, helping improve access to mental health support through digital tools.

Driving interoperability and digital standards across health and care
The Interweave Shared Care Record partnership, which includes Northamptonshire, was recognised for enabling better information sharing across organisations to support joined-up care.

Digital Innovator of the Year
Oana Ciurdarean, Northamptonshire ICB, was named Digital Innovator of the Year, recognising her leadership and contribution to advancing digital transformation locally.

Highly commended

Digital Transformation Organisation of the Year (Highly Commended)
University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (alongside UHL) received national recognition for transforming services through digital innovation.
