More support is available through your local pharmacy. You can now get blood pressure checks as well as care for a variety of common conditions including middle ear inflammation, impetigo, infected insect bites, shingles, sinusitis, sort throats and UTI.

Care Leaver Prescription Pre-Payment Certificate

From 1 April 2024 we are running a one year pilot scheme funding prepayment prescription certificates for care experienced young people (care leavers) aged 16 to 25 years who are not entitled to free prescriptions under current NHS exemptions.
