Update on future ICB Board meetings

 

NHS Northamptonshire ICB’s Board meeting will be held on Thursday 15 October  2026 at  09:30am till 11:30am, LOROS, Groby Road, Leicester, LE3 9QE. This meeting will be held in common with the Board of NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ICB.

Meeting papers will be made available nearer the time.

Further Board meetings are due to be on the following dates:

• Thursday 17 December 2026 – Haylock House, Kettering Parkway, Venture Park, Kettering. NN15 6EY
• Thursday 18 February 2027 – Venue to be confirmed in Leicester

 

The ICB Board meets bi-monthly, in person. You are welcome to attend our Board Meetings in Public. A meeting in public is where members of the public attend to observe the formal meeting. Observers are not permitted to join in the discussion or ask questions. We also do not permit filming or photography before, during or following meetings.

If you would like to attend to observe the meeting, please email: northantsicb.board@nhs.net before 12:00pm on Tuesday 13 October 2026 to register your attendance.  Attendance will be on a first come basis so that we can comply with the health and safety requirements of the venue including meeting room capacity.

 

They will advise you of the agreed location and how to gain entry to the meeting.

How do I submit a question to the board?

Members of the public who wish to ask a question of the ICB Board are asked to submit it at least three days (by 12 noon on the Monday before the date of the meeting). Relevant questions to the Board agenda may be submitted in advance and should be submitted to the Board Secretary Team here: northantsicb.board@nhs.net

Time is allocated a the start of each meeting for questions from the public.

If you have any financial interest in the subject of the question, this should be declared when the question is submitted. Complex questions or those which require particular research, or data retrieval or analysis may be deferred and answered at a future ICB Board meeting or directly in writing.

What questions are not accepted?

Grounds for not accepting public questions include, but are not limited to:

• it would cost too much or take too much staff time to deal with the question
• the question is vexatious
• the question has previously been answered by the ICB in the last six months and placed in the public domain
• the answer could prejudice a criminal investigation or commercial confidentiality
• the answer relates to personal data, which if released would be contrary to the Data Protection Act

The decision of the Chair of the ICB Board meeting on whether to accept a question and how it should be answered is final.
