MIDAS finalists announced

MIDAS Awards 2023/24 blog

The Midlands Inclusivity and Diversity Award Scheme or ‘MIDAS’, recognises innovative ways of working by heath and care staff, managers, and leaders across the region, to make the Midlands an inclusive place for all. The scheme is specifically designed to identify and spread the good work that is happening in the Midlands across our health and social care sector.

After an in-depth award entry application process where nominators were required to demonstrate how a person or project has made a positive impact on inclusivity in their organisation, the shortlist has now been announced.

The following people and teams are finalists:

  • Integrated Care Northamptonshire EDI Workstream (Integrated Care Northamptonshire) - Inclusive ICS of the Year
  • Alistair Weston, EDI Engagement Officer (Northampton General Hospital) - Unsung Star of the Year
  • International Shared Decision Making Council (Northampton General Hospital) - Outstanding Staff Network of the Year
  • Jayne Evans and the NHFT ENABLE staff network (Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust) - Outstanding Staff Network of the Year
  • Anamika Joshi (Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust) - Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year

The ceremony where winners will be announced is taking place on Friday 22 March 2024.
