Integrated Care Northamptonshire has been shortlisted for the 2024 HSJ Digital Awards
Integrated Care Northamptonshire is delighted to be shortlisted in two categories of the 2024 HSJ Digital Awards – Digital Organisation of the Year and Digital Team of the Year.
343 entries have been received for this year’s Digital Awards, with 165 projects and individuals meriting inclusion on the final shortlist. The high volume - and exceptional quality – of applications once again mirrors the impressive levels of innovation and care continually being developed across the UK’s healthcare system.
Following the thorough judging process, Integrated Care Northamptonshire was shortlisted, ahead of the official awards ceremony with its work to go from ‘Zeroes to Heroes’ standing out as a real success story worthy of a prized place on the panel’s shortlist.
Zeroes to Heroes evolved from the system digital strategy not being where it needed to be but the Digital Team having a clear and ambitious vision of where it wanted to get to. Twelve months later the Digital team has delivered everything set out in their ambitions and more including:
- The connected care record
- A population health tool with risk stratification tools
- A new Digital Skills Academy that focused on data skills for the future
- The NHS as the front door to services
- Care plans that work across the system for end of life and learning disability and autism
- A way of connecting our data to create better outcomes using remote monitoring
Matthew Hutton, Digital Programme Lead said: “This project has been a real labour of love and we are delighted to make the shortlist and for our team to be recognised in this way.
“At the start of this project we had an ambitious vision of where we wanted to be and this has only been realised through our team’s hard work, resilience and commitment as well as the support of our partner organisations.”

The selected winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at Manchester Central on 6th June 2024.
