ICN in partnership with Northamptonshire Carers - Caring for Your Future

This Carers Rights Day we are focusing on supporting people to prepare for the future through our theme: ‘Caring for Your Future’.

ICN and hundreds of organisations across the UK will be holding an event or activity for Carers Rights Day to help colleagues and people in the community find out about their rights as a carer, and where to go for support.

The interactive session will include:

• Highlights from Northamptonshire Carers about carers' employment rights and support available
• The importance of power of attorney and making a will
• A working carer's story
• The mental health impact of caring
• Young carers
• 'Listening booth' breakout sessions covering carers' passports, the cost-of-living crisis and employer support for carers
