Morcea Walker appointed Interim Chair Healthwatch North and West Northamptonshire

Healthwatch North and West Northamptonshire has appointed Morcea Walker, the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire, as the Interim Chair for the Healthwatch North Northamptonshire and Healthwatch West Northamptonshire Advisory Board. Professor William Pope, the previous Interim Chair, will remain as Morcea's Vice Chair. Morcea Walker smiling and standing at a desk in a wood-paneled room  

Professor Will Pope said: "I am delighted that Morcea has stepped up into this position. Morcea has a wealth of experience championing both Healthwatch and the needs of local people in health and social care. She excels in community engagement and putting people first, which is the purpose of a successful Healthwatch." 

Morcea said: "I am very pleased to have the opportunity to continue to progress the work of Healthwatch in Northamptonshire. There are challenging times ahead for our county and country but I look forward to working with staff and volunteers to achieve the aims and objectives of the organisation.”
