Acute hospital choir seeking voices from across ICN

Kettering General Hospital (KGH) choir is looking to broaden its vocal range, inviting colleagues from all Integrated Care Northamptonshire organisations to come along and join its ranks.

A small but friendly group, current KGH chorists are excited to welcome a range of voices from other NHS providers, our local councils, primary care, the voluntary and community sector and our Integrated Care Board – and foster that sense of working more closely together through a love of singing.

The choir meets every Wednesday at 7:30pm and is based at The Beccy Hurrell Vocal Academy (The Yards, Kettering). It’s the phenomenally talented Beccy Hurrell herself who leads the choir, maintaining perfect harmony – whether tackling a modern hit or traditional number. Putting its practice to good use, the KGH choir occasionally performs at the hospital, or across wider system organisations.

Colleagues aspiring to get involved can come along to a session for free – with ongoing membership fees of £20 per month applying subsequently.

If you are interested in tuning up those vocal cords with our friends at KGH – whether you’ve graced the stage or just sing in the shower – get in touch with choir member Angela Wilson for more information.
